Nata Dolnik

Dr. Nata Dolnik is a native of the former Soviet Union and trained in the classical Russian method.  She has always had a love for music, especially piano.  She started her studies at a professional music school at a young age and graduated with honors earning a dual degree of Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Arakishvili Music College.   Dr. Dolnik received her Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Piano, Chamber Performance, and Accompaniment from the famous Saradgishvili Conservatory of Georgia, in Tibilisi Georgia.  Upon graduation she qualified as a soloist, concertmaster, and piano instructor.

Dr. Dolnik came to the United States in 1993 and is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music. She has worked as a faculty professor at the Johnson County Community College for over 20 years, teaching theory and music fundamentals in a large classroom, as well as private piano lessons.
She has also privately taught students of all ages from children to adults, to trained soloist that have won several festivals and piano competitions all around United States.

Dr. Dolnik has also performed a solo for the Ruel Joyce Recital Series and has served as an accompanist for soloist and choirs.  A member of the Kansas Music Teachers Association for 23 years, her greatest joy is sharing her knowledge of basic piano techniques and subtleties of music interpretation to help students expand their knowledge and to reach highest levels of excellence in musicianship.

The results of her outstanding background as a student, teacher, and performer are clearly seen in Dr. Dolnik’s teaching skill. As a teacher, Nata Dolnik is patient, creative, innovative and confident. She is deeply committed to a high standard and excellent quality of musical education.
