Scholarships

Chun University offers a series of academic scholarships and awards. Students must maintain a ‘full time’ academic course load to be eligible for the academic scholarship programs.

Scholarship benefits (details under section 1 through 4) are available to 50% of full time student body each semester. The scholarships will be paid by 100%, 50%, and 30% of tuition, as decided by the scholarship committee.

1. Honor Scholarships: Each year, scholarships ranging up to 100% of tuition will be awarded by the Scholarship Committee to entering freshmen who have shown extraordinary academic achievement and outstanding leadership and character.

2. Presidential and University Scholarships: Prospective students with exemplary high school records and test scores are eligible for these awards. These are based on a combination of SAT scores and academic course grade averages. Honor Scholars (see above) are ineligible for these awards. Scholarships are renewable annually by meeting the specified GPA requirements.

3. Performance Winner Scholarships: Scholarships ranging up to 100% of tuition will be awarded by the Scholarship Committee to a student who has won a national music competition.

4. Chun Group Scholarships: Each year, scholarships ranging up to 100% of tuition will be awarded by the Chun Group to entering freshmen who have shown extraordinary academic achievement and outstanding leadership and character.
